chángrénnánzhīxiūliànkǔ  
常人难知修炼苦，
zhēngzhēngdòudòudàngzuòfú  
争争斗斗当作福；
xiūdézhízhuówúyīlòu  
修得执著无一漏，
kǔqùgānláishìzhēnfú  
苦去甘来是真福。

Cultivating Amidst the Delusion

Ordinary people do not understand the pain of cultivation,
Happiness to them is vying and competing;
Cultivate, my disciples, ‘til no single omission is found,
And with the passing of all adversity,
     will come the sweetness of true joy.
